On 8th March 2023, the Ayesha Foundation organized an event in commemoration of International Women’s Day at Mehboob Medical Institute Peshawar

The event aimed to celebrate the achievements of women, highlight their struggles, and promote gender equality. Event Activities: The event was attended by over 200 participants, including women from different walks of life, healthcare professionals, and students. The event featured a range of activities, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive sessions. The keynote speakers included renowned women leaders from different field of life, including UNDP Coordinator Mr. Ijaz Khan as a guest of honor, famous anchor person Mr. Jamshid Ali Khan, Chairman Mehboob Medical Institute Peshawar Dr. Mehboob Ur Rehman, social activist and Chair Person Ranra Street child foundation Peshawar Ms. Mehwish Ali Khan, prominent Advocate and Women right activist Ms. Masoma Kalsoom Mir, a successful entrepreneur from Chamber of Commerce Peshawar Ms. Shabana Abdullah, Ms. Syed Nudrat Social Welfare Peshawar, Ms. Muslim Political worker President Women Wing Peshawar and Prominent Women right activist and Ms. Hina Rehman from Human Rights. The speakers shared their inspiring stories, highlighting their journeys, challenges, and successes, motivating and encouraging the audience to pursue their dreams and aspirations. The panel discussions focused on critical issues affecting women, including gender-based violence, women’s health, and women’s economic empowerment. The discussions were interactive, allowing the audience to ask questions and share their experiences, making the event a platform for learning and exchange of ideas. .
